Fashion Podcasts Worth the Listen
Fashion lovers, girl bosses, and media-savvy babes alike can all find value in any of these podcasts. I kid you not, I probably listen to 5-10 episodes a day from new episodes to deep-diving on old fashion news while I’m commuting, sitting in my lonely cubicle (lol) and making dinner. If you’re a self-proclaimed fashion nerd like me, you’re going to love these podcasts!
When I first started getting into the podcast world, Bénja introduced me to The Glossy Podcast. Hilary Milnes is a skilled interviewer and asks all the right questions to curate an interview that is well-informed, personal and thought-provoking without being too serious.
Produced by MyDomaine, Second Life features guests from the worlds of fashion, lifestyle and luxury starting with their first career and introducing how they embarked on their “second life” aka their entrepreneurial journey.
The name “Pop Fashion” holds a connotation that quintessentially captures the essence of the show. Hosted by besties and journalists Kaarin Vembar and Lisa Rowan, they spill the tea on industry news (and gossip) while adding their own humor along the way. I highly recommend this for those weeks when we don’t have time to scroll through WWD to keep up with the retail/media industry apocalypse.
I will say, The BoF Podcast is for the fashion-savvy listener. This isn’t “scratching the surface” fashion talk but a deep dive into the who’s who and happenings of the industry. If that’s you, this is a must-listen.
This is such a unique podcast. Yes, it’s informative, but it’s also highly personal and allows listeners witness a more laid-back side to many household fashion names. Not to mention, the new season is moderated by Cindy Levie (previous EIC of Glamour) and a total sweetheart. I’ve just started listening and it’s safe to say I’m hooked!
